StockPot Recalls Chicken Noodle Soup as It Is Formulated with Wheat,Which Is Not Mentioned

StockPot is recalling 1,864 cases of chicken noodle soup as it is formulated with wheat, which is not mentioned on the label.

The product features a Loaded Baked Potato Style Soup side label, which does not declare the presence of wheat as ingredient.

The product being recalled is recall is 24oz. refrigerated plastic tubs of Wholesome@Home Classic Chicken Noodle Soup with the establishment number 'P-18235'

It was manufactured on 25 October 2013, and 26 October 2013 and was shipped to distribution centers in the states of Indiana, California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas and Utah for sale in the Kroger retail outlets.

Reported by a supermarket employee, the problem occurred due to improper assembling of subset of labels that were provided by the label printing company, the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said.

The agency and the company have received no reports of illnesses to date, in connection with the consumption of the product.

Consumers concerned about a reaction have been advised to contact a healthcare provider.
