MOFCOM Releases Preliminary Ruling on Anti-dumping Investigation against Imported Fiber Preform

The MOFCOM released announcement No. 15 of 2015 on May 18, 2015, announcing the preliminary ruling on the anti-dumping investigation against the Fiber Preform imported from Japan and the U.S..

The MOFCOM made the ruling that Imported optical fiber preform rods manufactured from Japan and the U.S. are dumping.and the U.S., Chinese domestic industry was substantially threatened and impaired and there was a casual relation between the dumping and the injury, and it decided to carry out temporary anti-dumping measure of deposit. According to the ruling, the importers when importing the above-mentioned products should hand in deposit in line with the dumping margins (7.8%-39.0%) to the China Customs. The tariff number of the product is 70022010 under Import and Export Tariffs of the People's Republic of China.
