Blue Bell Is Receiving a Significant Amount in Investment

Blue Bell Creameries, whose products were found to be linked with the recent Listeria outbreak in the US, is receiving a significant amount in investment from Texas business investor Sid Bass.

The investment will be used to bring back company's ice cream products to the market.

This follows the company's plans to begin testing ice cream production at its plant in Alabama in near future.

The company will closely monitor and test the ice creams produced at the plant.

Following the trial production, Blue Bell will begin the process to return to the market. However, the company is not sure when the ice cream sales will resume.

Blue Bell Creameries Operations vice president Greg Bridges said: "We have been working diligently to prepare our facilities to resume test production, and our focus throughout this process has been to ensure the public that when our products return to market, they are safe.

"We are very excited about taking these important first steps as part of the process of getting high-quality Blue Bell products back to consumers."
