GS mark need to consider Annex EE of EN 60950-1/A1:2010 which defines the requirements regarding household and home/office document/media shredders.
These requirements of Annex EE have to be applied regardless of the transitional period of the standard.
Main requirement of Annex EE is summaries as follows:

Marking and instructions for alerting the user the possible hazards arising from
- Using by children
- Hand accessing the paper feeding opening
- Cloth entering the paper feeding opening
- Hair entering the paper feeding opening

Using aerosol products near paper shredder with brush motor
- The interlock shall be constructed so that accidental operation by test finger is prevented.
- Disconnecting switch is required and should be located where it is easily assessable to user whose body part or clothing may be caught at the feed opening.
- Testing on paper feeding opening for protection against hazardous moving parts by newly introduced test wedge.
