The Chinese government has launched probes into Swiss packaging company Tetra Pak and New Zealand dairy company Fonterra (FCG.NZE), The Wall Street Journal reported. China's State Administration of Industry and Commerce announced on Friday that Tetra Pak, which produces packaging for dairy and beverage products for sale in China, was under investigation for suspected abuse of its market position. Fonterra announced that they were being investigated by the National Development and Reform Commission on Thursday, only two days after the NDRC announced that it was investigating Switzerland’s Nestle (NESN.VTX) and France’s Danone (BN.EPA) for price fixing and anticompetitive activity.
