China Quality Certification Center (CQC) has carried out New Standards and Certification Rules for Water Conservation Certification of Water Tank Accessories and Flushing Water Tank, CQC32-372121-2013.The details are as follows.

1. Requirement of carrying out new standards.
The new Standards for GB26730-2011and GB6952-2005 replace the old Standards for CQC3228-2009, the details on version changing are as following.
1)The scope of this standards version :
The products for using CQC32-372121-2009 to implement authentication and accessing to CQC certification certificate (CQC product category 704003)
2)The requirements for new standard:
The enterprises will apply for certification according to the new rules since the new version released. The difference between old and new version for water-saving certification of water tank fittings see annex.
3)The requirements for the conversion of old rules certificate:
For clients who hold old version certificate should submit the changing application since the notice released, then take differentia test. The companies who choose to carry out new standard have to do testing based on the new standard, and the certification would be exchanged if the result is qualified. The old certificates changing should be completed by June 1st,2014. If the certificates were not transferred on time, they would be postponed. If they failed to be replaced before Sep. 1st, 2014, they would be withdrawn..
2.Modified content of the rules.
1) Modified item 1, adding the flushing water tank in applied scope
2) Modified item 3.1 Unit division
3) Modified item 4.2 Standard, test items and requirements
4) Add consistency criterion and requirements for control and test of factory quality in water-saving certification;
5) Modified item 10 Certificate expiry review
6) Modified item 11 Certificate mark usage
7) Modified requirements for product description.
CQC Product Certification Department Ⅵ has already use the new certification rule and Standard to accept applications of these products, companies could submit certification application through CQC website.
