Merging two designs into one, the UK based Splinter Works design studio has created the perfect bathtub lounge. Vessel is a bathtub, in the shape of a hammock. Specifically designed to allows its users to completely emerge themselves in an above the ground suspended sculpture and release their everyday worries into a sanctuary of artistic relaxation.

Vessel is suspended from the walls and would need to be used in a room specifically designed for wet applications. To fill the bathtub simply turn on the floor standing tap, and to drain the bathtub’s waste water, release the bathtub’s drain to allow for the water to drain into the floor drain below the tub.

Vessel is longer than the average bathtub and is made from carbon fibre materials that allow for the bathtub to be both sturdy and curvaceous. It is pictured here in black, although it also available in red, blue, yellow, pink, bronze and pure silver. Fun and relaxing!
