Non-powered skate wheel and roller conveyor
Powered, or live, belt and roller conveyor used in handling packages and other small products

Moveable sections of non-powered conveyor are usually used for loading packed material inside the truck that is standing out in the road. Skate wheel conveyor

Roller conveyor
Non-powered roller conveyor is mostly employed in workstations to garner modules for it gives a large working space and is usually economical as compared to skate wheel conveyor. Apart from that it also helps in slowing down the move of products coming through the speedy sorter. POWERED PACKAGE-HANDLING CONVEYOR

Poly bags, envelopes and electronics are examples of products handled easily by Belt Conveyors that are often too small or too light to be conveyed directly on rollers.
