Under the contract, Scania will also provide a complete package of products and services to the bus operator which includes operational leasing of the vehicles by the company's Chilean financing company.
The buses will be powered by 230 hp engines and will meet the European Euro 5 emission standard and also the enhanced environmentally friendly vehicles (EEV) standard.
Scania's bus chassis will be produced by the Brazilian bus bodybuilder Marcopolo.
