Our partner, Brunner Furniture announced that their newly designed Hoc Stool and Hoc Standing Table have won the iF product design award 2013. Congratulations!
Because of its elegant and sculptural design, Hoc Bar Stool convinced the iF jury that it deserves this year’s Product Design Award. The Hoc Bar Stool stands out because of its design as an innovative interpretation of the archetypal stool. This stool was made by combining three identically shaped pieces of molded wood with an elegant sweep to form a seat. It’s a sculpture rather than a mere piece of furniture. Hoc is manufactured in top quality materials and is appropriate for every environment.
The International Forum Design Award‘s jury decision is based on aspects such as quality of design, finishing and selection of material but also influenced by the functionality of the product. The Hoc Bar Stool has also won the Reddot Design Award in 2012.
