Americhem Inc., a global provider of custom color and additive solutions for synthetic fibers, will exhibit at the IDEA 2013 International Engineered Fabrics Conference & Expo from April 23-25, 2013, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Americhem's display, located at booth 1743, will feature the company's latest products, including a new line of color and additives for nonwoven fibers. The booth will feature a wide range of sample products produced by Americhem's customers in market sectors such as healthcare and hygiene, geotextiles, building and construction, filtration and other industrial applications. Commercial and product experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on Americhem's products and services.
"We have made a sizeable investment in the nonwovens market over the past five years," said Rob Clayton, nonwovens segment director for Americhem. "Most notably, Americhem operates a spunbonded pilot line at our Dalton, Ga., plant, which benefits customers by allowing them to see Americhem color and additives at work within actual nonwoven fabric samples. We can test the functionality and spinning performance of our products without having to utilize our customers' production equipment, ultimately reducing the cost and cycle time associated with bringing new products to market."
Visitors to the booth will also be able to participate in a contest that tests their knowledge of color within the nonwovens industry. Prizes and merchandise will be awarded to participants including the grand prize-a new iPad® with Retina display.
Americhem masterbatches for nonwoven fibers are designed with superior dispersion characteristics. The products have been proven to extend pack life, as well as reduce die-face buildup, improving spin performance and yields.
