DuPont Packaging Graphics has launched the new flexographic printing plate Cyrel FAST DFUV, which can be used with ultraviolet (UV) curable inks.
Cyrel DFUV has been designed to use in applications involving high end substrates such as pressure sensitive and self-adhesive labels, shrink wrap and wrap around labels, tickets, tags and boards.
The new thermal process plate, which is said to improve solid ink density, prints smooth and dense solids, without compromising dot gain, highlights and resolution.
Cyrel DFUV has been specifically designed for shorter print runs using UV inks on high priced stock, according to the company.
DuPont Packaging Graphics global business director John Chrosniak said the printing plate has been developed specifically for the narrow web printer who needs a high-performance flexographic printing plate for use with UV inks.
"As we continue to advance quality, productivity and sustainability for flexographic printing, this new plate is an outstanding addition to our portfolio," Chrosniak added.
