Japanese carmaker Honda has started production of its 2013 Honda Accord at its Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio, US.
The new sedan will be offered with three new powertrain options which include 2.0liter hybrid system with electric-only drive, a 2.4litre four-cylinder engine mated to a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) and generated an output of 181hp.
Honda will also offer new Accord with a 3.5litre V6 engine which will be mated to a new CVT or a six-speed manual transmission.
Features of the new sedan include a forward collision warning system, LED daytime running lights, and a blind-spot monitoring system.
According to the carmaker, the new 2013 Honda Accord will go on sale in US in September 2012.
