Honda has announced a new lease programs for the existing and prospective Fit EV customers.
Under the new program, the existing Fit EV customers will get a two-year lease extension , along with lower monthly payment option of $199, which was previously $259.
The program does not require any down payment and includes routine maintenance, collision coverage, and unlimited mileage that were already present in the original lease.
The two-year lease extension and reduced price is not limited to the existing customers. The Japanese automaker will provide the offer to customers who buy used Honda Fit EV as well.
According to Honda, Fit EV is one of the most efficient 5-passenger electric vehicles on the market.
It consumes 29 kWh/ 100 miles, and when connected to a 240-volt circuit, the vehicle is capable of charging in less than three hours.
American Honda Motor Environmental Business Development Office VP Steve Center said: "Most Fit EV drivers tell us they love their vehicles, and many have requested lease extensions and this extended lease program is intended to meet their needs.
"We're very confident in how the vehicles are performing, and look forward to offering new and existing customers a chance to experience everything the Fit EV has to offer."
