The Lenovo Environment Affairs and Specifications Communication Conference 2012, organized by Lenovo Group and sponsored by SGS, was successfully held in Shanghai and Shenzhen in Oct 2012. Over 500 representatives from Lenovo suppliers countrywide attended the conference. In the conference, Lenovo senior specialists discussed about the updated Lenovo suppliers management systems and specifications. And the announcement and notification requirements of REACH regulation have been upgraded accordingly. At the same time, in the electronics industry with increasingly fierce competition, the reliability of products has been valued by more and more markets and customers, and it has been listed as an important quality indicator for products. All of these have raised higher requirements on the "Made of China" products.
