Global PET solutions provider Sidel has opened a new Packaging & Tooling Center in Pune, India, in a bid to address the growing demand for bottle packaging technology in the market.
According to Sidel, which is currently operating six similar centers around the world, the new one has been designed specially to offer customers an improved regional service.
The company's new center in India focuses on the specific requirements of the country's growing packaging industry.
Sidel SEAP zone vice-president Andrew Pooch said, "In the future, we will be better able to serve customers in this region, by building closer working partnerships with them and offering shorter delivery times."
The Packaging & Tooling Centers of Sidel offer all of the company's global competencies on an integrated, local scale from bottle design to line engineering, from offer to commissioning and complete life cycle management.
