Japanese carmaker Honda has unveiled the new Civic Tourer prior to its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show that will be held in Germany during September 2013.
The new Civic Tourer will be powered by either the 1.6L i-DTEC engine from the Earth Dreams Technology series or the 1.8L i-VTEC engine that may be paired to either manual or automatic transmission.
Scheduled for launch in Europe in 2014, the new vehicle was developed and designed in the region and will be built at Honda's UK manufacturing facility.
The new vehicles will come with 5-doors and offer trunk volume of 624L with rear seats up and 1,668L trunk volume with rear seats down up to roof lining.
Features of the new vehicle will include a new adaptive damper system (ADS) that is claimed to offer better stability and comfort under varying load and driving conditions.
The vehicle's rear quarter window glass has been extended to cover the body work of the D-pillar, while the fuel tank is located under the front seats.
