Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) generated consolidated revenues of NT$337.862 billion (US$11.3 billion) for September, the highest monthly level so far in 2013 and increasing 20.48% on month and 14.26% on year, according to the company.
The revenue growth was mainly due to the launch of iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in several markets in late September, local market analysts indicated. As the new iPhone models will be launched in more markets in the fourth quarter, Foxconn is expected to see increases in monthly consolidated revenues in the quarter, the sources said.
Foxconn recorded consolidated revenues of NT$918.543 billion for the third quarter, growing 2.42% on quarter, and NT$2.624 trillion for January-September, dropping 5.18% on year.
