Marianne James has been named VP commercial partnerships, consumer products and experiences for Nickelodeon UK and Ireland.
In a new role for the entertainment firm, James will be responsible for the commercialisation of Nickelodeon assets and properties within the UK and Irish markets.
She will work across consumer products, brand and commercial partnerships, event and sponsorships while managing the Nickelodeon relationship with Sky Media and oversee the work of Nickelodeon’s Commercial Creative Unit.
James will report to Ron Johnson, EVP international CP, Viacom International Media Networks and Alison Bakunowich, general manager, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland.
“Marianne has done a fantastic job within her consumer products and retail role, spearheading innovative strategies and partnerships,” said Johnson.
“With this new role, Marianee will be key in making our properties work hard for us and our partners by aligning sponsorship and product opportunities so that we provide a seamless, effective service across all commercial opportunities.”
Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products has also appointed Felix Ruoff to the role of vice president, sales and marketing EMEA and MENA CP.
The former Disney executive will report to Mark Kingston, GM and senior vice president, consumer products, EMEA for retail sales and marketing and Stefano Araldi, vice president, consumer products, South, Western Europe, Middle East and Africa.
