Huawei Technologies has denied rampant talks saying that the leading telecom equipment supplier will shut down consumer business group, pointing out that the news is groundless.
There has been report saying that Huawei Technologies is adjusting business structure to shut down consumer business group and regards Huawei Device as important as its carrier network and enterprise business groups.
The story also revealed that former executive vice president of Nokia in charge of global sales Colin Giles is expected to join in Huawei Device in July, assuming the post as senior vice president and taking charge of global sales, particularly, optimization of B2C open channels. So far, Huawei Technologies has made no response.
