Honda Automobile Thailand has introduced its new generation Honda City in Thailand, which has been developed under the advanced cool stunner concept.
Honda City is equipped with 1.5L i-VTEC engine, which is compatible with E85 fuel. It works with a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) developed under Honda's Earth Dreams Technology.
The 1.5L SOHC i-VTEC engine offers 117HP at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 146nm at 4,700 rpm. The new CVT is improved with new gear ratios and a G-Design Shift.
Developed based on its 'Exciting H Design' concept, the company introduced this vehicle in six variants and seven colors, with sales expected to reach 60,000 units within one year.
Honda Automobile Thailand executive vice president Pitak Pruittisarikorn was quoted by automotiveworld.com as saying: "The all-new Honda City is the fourth generation, and has been further developed from the previous three generations to come equipped with a full range of ideal features that exceed the diverse expectations of customers in the sub-compact car segment."
Besides these, safety features of the vehicle include anti-lock brake system (ABS), vehicle stability assist (VSA), hill start assist (HSA) and emergency stop signal (ESS) in all variants.
