Its state-of-the-art AUTOSAR-compliant solutions for electronic control units (ECUs) encompass basic software, operating systems, configuration tooling, functional safety solutions, testing and integration services.
The offices in India and Romania will focus on strengthening EB's AUTOSAR software, tooling and services portfolio to meet the increasingly complex requirements of the market.
With the growing demand for advanced ECU solutions to power automated driving and connected car systems of the future, EB is planning for further enhancement through Adaptive AUTOSAR, the future-oriented approach for mastering the increased performance, reliability and flexibility needs of modern ECUs and domain controllers.
EB president and managing director Alexander Kocher said: "Automakers are demanding more sophisticated features and connectivity for their vehicles, without sacrificing security. That's why EB has made it a priority to expand its activities in the area of advanced ECU solutions."
"With the expansion in Timisoara and Bangalore, we can focus on tackling the complex challenges facing the market and continue to provide innovative solutions to our customers worldwide."
The expansion is the latest move in EB's strategy to create a global network of specialized, multi-client, cross-geography development offices.
