John Bean Technologies (JBT) Corporation has secured a contract to supply protein processing equipment to a North America-based food processor.
The $6m contract will require JBT to supply cooking and freezing technology to process ethnic foods for the fast growing convenience food market.
This project is expected to be fully operational in the third quarter of 2015.

JBT Corporation designs, manufactures, tests and services technologically sophisticated systems and products for regional and multi-national industrial food processing customers through its JBT FoodTech segment.
Currently, the company employs nearly 3,500 people and operates sales, service, manufacturing and sourcing operations in over 25 countries.
