The Getaway promotion "Where will you go?" sponsored by Main Electric, 3M and ElectroRep gave one lucky winner a $4,000 vacation, to where, you may ask? Anywhere they choose! Shane Bassett, Project Engineer from A.J. Kirkwood & Associates, is excited to be whisked away on this $4,000 trip to Europe. "My boyfriend and I are thinking of going to London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, and Venice." Shane didn't just win this wonderful trip by pure chance; she was an active participant in this promotion that gave one raffle ticket for every $75 that was spent on a 3M product. "Johnny Miller sent me an ad telling me about the promotion in November and about every day since I was hounding him trying to find out if I won," she laughed.
Shane was awarded this $4,000 vacation on Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 and is still bubbling with excitement. When asked when she would go, "Well it's actually really funny," she began, "instead of buying Christmas presents for each other, my boyfriend and I plan a trip each year. We had just booked a trip to Cabo two weeks before I won Main's promotion. So this trip will most likely wait until 2015."
