The DVD and Blu-ray release of Frozen has helped boost the demand for the brand in other categories, including plush.
The demand in both the US and UK has seen prices for Frozen toys soar on eBay, and Disney has told ToyNews that since the home entertainment launch earlier this month, this hunger for all things Frozen has continued to grow.
"Since the launch of Frozen on DVD and Blu-Ray, we have seen its phenomenal popularity continue," Mike Stagg, general manager, retail, Disney UK & Ireland, told ToyNews.
"1.5 million copies have been sold in the UK in the first three weeks of release and demand for Frozen merchandise has increased even further across multiple categories, from plush to Disney Infinity Frozen figures through to dress up.
"We are thrilled that audiences have connected with the Frozen characters and story and we are working hard to keep bringing additional product into stores as quickly as possible to meet the high demand."
