The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has imposed preliminary anti-dumping and anti-subsidization tariffs of 9-286% on crystalline silicon PV modules and laminates (semi-finished PV modules) as well as thin-film PV modules produced by more than 10 China-based makers, according to China-based National Business Daily (NBD).
In response to a complaint jointly filed by four Canada-based PV makers, the Canada Border Services Agency began anti-dumping and anti-subsidization investigations on China-made PV products in the fourth quarter of 2014.
Tariff rates are 202.5% for Suntech Power holdings, 174.2% CSI, 126.5% Trina Solar, 111.8% Jinko Solar Holdings and 50.6% for JA Solar Holdings.
CITT will make a final decision on the investigation on June 3, 2015.
