Southern Chill, a band loaded with furniture industry talent, will warm up the night at McPherson's Tuesday evening to raise funds for City of Hope, the California-based medical research and treatment center.
Sean Mettler, an up-an-coming country star, will start the entertainment around 8 p.m. The bar and grill is at 5710 High Point Road in Greensboro, N.C.
"The furniture industry does an incredible job supporting the City of Hope, which focuses on cancer and other life-threatening diseases," said Ray Allegrezza, one of the guitarists for Southern Chill and the editor-in-chief of Furniture/Today.
Southern Chill also features Mike Cox and Chuck Welch, both with Klaussner Furniture; Rusty Coleman, formerly with Klaussner; Earl Austin of Austin Photography, and Brian Cooper.
