The Conspicuous Growth in Incoming Orders Has Been Increasingly Reflected

The conspicuous growth in incoming orders since the fourth quarter of 2011 has been increasingly reflected in the Finnish machinery producer Raute's turnover figures since the third quarter of 2012. At 9.9m (Jan. -Sept. 2011: 21.6m) turnover in the third quarter is around 38% higher than in the same stretch of last year. The operating profit jumped 80% to .8m (1m) and the net profit almost doubled at .2m (0.67m). Until the end of the first half-year, Raute's turnover had still stagnated at last year's level due to the time-lag between order receipts and the start of deliveries. However, the combined turnover in the first three quarters was up 13% to 7.4m (Jan. -Sept. 2011: 59.4m) due to the strong third quarter. The operating profit rose to .9m at the same time and the net result was positive at m (-75, 000) after a loss last year. Source: Euwid-wood-products
