The Government Procurement Service has published a£1bn tender for IT services.
The request said the maximum number of participants in the four-year framework was 680,which will include central government departments and their agencies,non-departmental public bodies,the NHS and local bodies.
Public sector bodies have a need for application development,delivery and support services,said the Government Procurement Service.
The notice was divided in to 35 lots,including software development,enterprise resource planning(ERP)systems,human resources and payroll IT solutions,CRM systems,business intelligence,big data solutions,electronic documents records management,web content management,and IT security services.
The maximum number of suppliers for any one lot is 25.Contracts will run for two years,with the possibility of a further two-year extension.
