Menasha Packaging, a subsidiary of Menasha Corporation, has unveiled new International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certified medical device unit in Edison, New Jersey.
The new facility includes a lab and separate environment control production room. Presently, the unit is testing pregnancy test kits, to ensure they are safe, reliable and of high quality.
It also carries an FDA Medical Device registration, which includes for adhesive bandages, toothbrushes, and other class I and II medical devices.
Menasha Packaging president Mike Waite said, "By creating a Medical Device Unit, we have enhanced our merchandising supply chain model by helping our clients bring their products to market consistently and sustainably while further reducing supply chain costs."
