Limited Edition Goshi Moshi Toy Tin Has Raised £104,730 for GOSH Children's Charity

The limited edition Goshi Moshi toy tin has raised £104,730 for the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH), smashing its £100,000 target.

The Goshi Moshi initiative was launched last November by toy supplier Vivid and brand owner Mind Candy. £3 from the sale of each £9.99 tin was donated to the charity.

The money has gone towards building the hospital's new British Kidney Patient Association Children's Kidney Centre.

A cheque handover took place yesterday at Mind Candy HQ. It's the start of a long-term collaboration between the Moshi Monsters brand and GOSH, with more products planned to arrive later this year.

"This was such a wonderful win-win idea for everyone concerned," said Vivid Chairman Nick Austin. "We raised a massive amount of money for the charity and the Moshi Monsters brand created huge interest with collectors,"

"A huge thank you is due to Mind Candy, the Vivid team and our retail partners for making this happen."

Darran Garnham, Chief Business Development Officer at Mind Candy, added: "We're proud to have partnered with Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Vivid on this wonderful initiative. We look forward to a long standing partnership and many more campaigns that go towards helping the hospital charity in the future."

Justine Trumper, Head of Account Management at GOSH, commented: "We're thrilled that the Goshi Moshi tin has been such a huge success. All the money raised will make a real difference for the very ill children with kidney conditions who are treated at the hospital.

"We're excited to continue our partnership with this innovative children's brand."
