Iran Daily reports that trade between Iran and Iraq exceeded $10 billion in the current Iranian year (started March 20, 2012).
Speaking at a seminar on trade and investment in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, which was held by Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, the Secretary-General of Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce Jahanbakhsh Sanjabi (pictured) put the figure at $10.7 billion, and said it could hit $12 billion by the end of the Iranian year.
A delegation of 200 Iraqi businessmen is expected to visit Iran in the near future.
