Goldfish and Bison celebrates spooky game success and secures more stock.
Kids who are looking for the spooky living room laser shooter Ghost Hunt will have to wait a while as the action game has completely sold out.
Distributed by Goldfish and Bison, the Megableu game shifted around 40,000 units in 2012 making it a total sell-out.
Ghost Hunt – a Firebox exclusive last Christmas – will be available to all retailers this year and Goldfish and Bison has pledged to continue its marketing support for the title into 2013.
Lee-Anne Neale, sales manager, Goldfish & Bison said: “Ghost Hunt has been a massive hit with both parents and kids this holiday season and we will continue to support the game, building on this success to become an even bigger bestseller in 2013.
“It is the first product we have supported with such a massive TV and marketing campaign and that has allowed us to show what a fantastic game we have in Ghost Hunt to a wider audience.”
Ghost Hunt has been a number one product in its native France, as well as being a strong seller in Benelux, Germany and Japan over Christmas 2011.
Other Megableu titles Creepy Hand and The Enchanted Ball will be distributed by Goldfish and Bison in 2013.
