A manufacturer of inherenty flame-resistant (FR) fabrics and a division of the Netherlands-based Royal Ten Cate NV — has added two new fabrics to its TenCate Tecasafe? Plus collection.
The first addition is a laminated protective fabric for use in FR industrial outdoor clothing. TenCate reports the fabric protects against rain, wind and other adverse outdoor conditions while still offering comfort to the wearer.
The second addition to the line is a protective knit used in T-shirts and polo shirts. According to the company, the shirts are comfortable to wear, and may be washed in industrial laundries.
The collection's expansion results in the availability of a complete Tecasafe Plus clothing system. Existing fabrics in the collection already are used in protective industrial clothing items. The new fabrics add solutions for outdoor jackets and shirts.
