Resuming Output in May Has Been Planted by Ube Thai CPL

Ube Chemicals has begun the restarting process of a caprolactam (CPL) plant which was shutdown due to technical reasons.  

An Ube official told fibre2fashion, “The gradual process of restarting the CPL plant which was shutdown due to technical reasons in March 2013 has begun. However, actual production will only begin in the first week of May 2013.”   

The CPL plant located in Rayong, Thailand has a production capacity of 130,000 mt/year.
