Australia-based Accolade Wines has agreed to acquire Grant Burge Wines in Barossa for an undisclosed amount.
An agreement to this effect was signed by the two companies.
The acquisition, which is subject to certain third-party conditions, is expected to be completed in January.
The deal includes the Krondorf winery that has a processing capacity of around 3,500t of grapes.
However, the acquisition of the Grant Burge Wines business does not include the Illaparra fortified winery and cellar door in Tanunda.
Founded in 1988, Grant Burge Wines produces and distributes wines in Australia. It markets its products across the UK, Europe, Canada, the US, and Asia.
Grant Burge generates around £24m in annual sales, reported Barossa Herald newspaper.
Accolade Wines said: "Accolade Wines is excited by the opportunity to build on the domestic strength of the brands and grow Grant Burge Wines internationally through its distribution network which spans 112 countries."
Accolade Wines is 80% owned by Champ Private Equity and 20% by Constellation Brands.
In April, Accolade purchased New Zealand wine brands Mud House and Waipara Hills, and their assets, from the Mud House Wine Group.
