A London-based team of toy designers is chasing Kickstarter success with a line of eco-friendly role play play-sets.
Called Playpress Toys, the firm is looking to raise £25,000 in order to take its project – a collection of press pout and play cardboard play-sets – to market this Christmas.
Playpress sets are made from sustainably sourced and 100 per cent recycled board, which allows the company to sell the sets at ‘pocket-money prices’.
Skyscrapers, shops and farms all feature in the range of play sets that targets children aged five to ten, while championing gender neutrality.
Playpress founder, Matthew Wright, said: “I was inspired by lots of amazing toys when I was young. I wanted to create something as inspiring and super-fun to play with, but also something I would have been able to buy with my own pocket money.”
