The new season will debut on Discovery Family on Saturday, March 26th and will kick off with a special one-hour premiere featuring Twilight Sparkle, Princess Cadance, Shining Armour and the new baby Flurry Heart.
To celebrate the upcoming launch of the new series, a teaser trailer has been given a twist of Game of Thrones, exploring some of the new locations that will be visited across the season such as Manehattan, Cloudsdale and the Crystal Empire.
“This season brings surprises and treats for viewers, including holiday specials and several new, original songs that are soon to be fan favourites,” read a statement from Hasbro Studios.
“Viewers will be introduced to new characters, a few of which will reveal the mysterious backstory of some of the main cast.”
