The Suzuki Authentics concept has been teased ahead of its upcoming reveal later this month at the Shanghai auto show.
While no formal details have been released, Suzuki says the Authentics concept is designed as a small car competitor – the largest segment in the Chinese market – set to tackle the likes of the Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus.
With a long wheelbase and low overall height, the Suzuki Authentics could also preview of a possible replacement for the Suzuki SX4 sedan, a car that would partner the next-generation Suzuki SX4 seen at last month’s Geneva motor show, due to arrive in Australia by the end of the year in either front- or all-wheel drive.
Designed off a theme the manufacturer calls ‘Sporty x Elegant’, the sleek four-door Suzuki Authentics concept will be unveiled on April 20 when the Shanghai auto show opens its doors.
