Fashion SVP, the event specialising in near shore manufacturing, is delighted to announce that the third edition of Future Fabrics Expo, organised by The Sustainable Angle, will take place within Fashion SVP on 22nd-24th September 2013 at London, Olympia.

The Future Fabrics Expo is a curated showcase of high quality fashion fabrics with a reduced environmental impact. It has been successful in changing the outdated image of sustainable materials, building up an expanding resource of globally sourced and individually assessed fabrics which are suitable for luxury, retailers and niche fashion brands.

Past Future Fabrics Expo events have been visited by leading global brands including Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood amongst many others. The several hundred sustainable fabrics shown in full-length samples will be accompanied by background information explaining the innovative materials, and showcasing best practice production and finishing processes.

Nina Marenzi, Director at The Sustainable Angle added: "We are excited to be joining Fashion SVP this year, and by the opportunity to be able to bring to the mainstream and high volume brands our knowledge and expertise on innovative sustainable fabrics. Fashion SVP represents the perfect platform for us to do that."

Buzz Carter, Event Director at Fashion SVP also commented: "The inclusion of Future Fabrics Expo adds another important dimension to Fashion SVP. As demand for new sustainable developments grows each year we are delighted to be able to offer show visitors an ideal opportunity to view and discover the latest innovations in sustainable fabrics and it moves the event closer to becoming a comprehensive resource for the fashion sourcing industry."
