The re-fitted store will open its doors from Saturday, April 4th with guest appearances and a charity trolley dash.
The Entertainer is preparing to re-open its newly re-fitted Uxbridge store with guest appearances and special offers for kids.
The store will open its doors on Saturday, April 4th and will celebrate the grand unveiling of its new look with appearances from the Red Power Ranger as well as offers across its Power Rangers and LEGO lines.
The 3,390 square foot store is located in the Pavilions Shopping Centre, Uxbridge and will host a special trolley-dash for children involved with the local charity, ORCHYD.
Set up in 1971, the charity aims to provide an annual residential holiday for children with disabilities from around the UK.
“We are delighted that The Entertainer has invited ORCHYD to take part in the grand opening,” said Corrie Irwin, head of the charity’s committee.
“The trolley dash will be a great success and we can’t wait to share the new toys with the children who will be joining us on our 2015 holiday.”
The refit of the Uxbridge store follows a solid year of growth for the family-run toy chain, who has recently revealed its plans for further store openings across the UK throughout 2015.
Gary Grant, founder and managing director of The Entertainer, said: “Uxbridge and the centre itself continues to offer a strong retail position for our store as it attracts large numbers of family shoppers who are demanding more toy shopping choice on the high street.
“We look forward to bringing joy and wonder to the children of Uxbridge and we have plans to increase our presence in the UK and will announce further plans soon.”
