US-based Lost Spirits Technologies has developed a new patented process by using its THEA One reactor, which will be used to create new generation of spirits.
THEA One will provide an enhanced way to design and engineer the quality of aged spirits and it will be installed in craft distilleries across the country.
Lost Spirits said that it has successfully scaled its experimental distilled spirits aging system and plans to introduce the new technology in October this year.
The company will implement the system through the use of small and portable aging reactors dubbed, 'the THEA One.'
In April this year, Lost Spirits successfully replicated the chemical signature and taste profile of 20-year-old rum in a laboratory setting.
Lost Spirits also noted that it has 65 distilleries on its waiting list and is in talks with multinational spirits partners to implement the technology.
