The most recent million visits to Fits.me Virtual Fitting Rooms have contributed to sales of £6m, Fits.me reported. 75,000 customers use a Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room every month, with visitors recorded from 181 of the 190 sovereign states in the world.
By the end of the summer, as new clients go live with the launch of their Autumn/Winter 2013 collections, there will be in excess of 45 Fits.me Virtual Fitting Rooms in operation in 16 different countries – with visitor numbers likely to reach 165,000+ as a result.
Heikki Haldre, co-founder and chief executive of Fits.me, said: “Our integration with analytics tools mean we can accurately attribute sales to our virtual fitting rooms, and know when they wouldn’t have occurred without us.
“But this is still only half the story: because we enable customers to buy more accurately, we also slash fit-related returns by up to three-quarters. So the clothing that gets sold via a Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room tends to stay sold, and is not returned for fit-related reasons,” he added.
The Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room solution is the only fit technology to provide shoppers with a photo-accurate visualisation of fit, delivering the in-store fitting room experience online. Fit Advisor, a complementary solution to the Fits.me Virtual Fitting Room, provides fit information and recommendations without photography.
Fits.me’s clients include Adidas, Avenue 32, Barbour by Mail, Boden, Ghost, Hawes & Curtis, Henri Lloyd, Hugo Boss, John Smedley, L.K.Bennett, Mexx, Nicole Farhi, QVC, Superdry and Thomas Pink.
