A Number of Enterprises Leaders of Ceramic Industry Association in Henan and Hubei

On November 4 to 6, a number of enterprises leaders of ceramic industry association in Henan Province and Hubei Province gathered and communicated in some Henan production bases and decided to combine and build ceramic brands in central China. With the implantation of Rise of Central China Plan, Dangyang and Qichun of Hubei Province and Anyang and Hebi in Henan Province have undertaken the industry relocation and transference. According to Mr. Zhou Yue, the Secretary General of Hubei Building Material Association, Hubei Province is building some new production bases such as Xishui County and Huangmei County. From January to September, 2011, the total production output of ceramic enterprises in Hubei is 6.453 billion yuan, 3.268 billion more than the same period in last year. The output of building ceramics increased by 106.23%, among which the total output of ceramic tiles is 206 million square meters, increased by 57.66%. The output of sanitary wares is 9.98 million pieces, 37.85% more than the same period in last year. According to Mr. Liu Hexin, President of Henan Building Ceramics Industrial Association, the annual output of sanitary ware in Henan reaches 62.8 million pieces, accounting for 35% of China’s total output. The production of ceramic tiles has exceeded 200 million square meters. At present, the Xinnanya Ceramics in Anyang and Fude Ceramics in Hebi have the production capability of near 30,000 square meters, keeping a balance between production and sales.
