Mask-arade will be paying tribute to Aston Villa’s Stiliyan Petrov at the team’s last game of the season, by giving out 3,000 masks of the recently retired midfielder.
As Aston Villa take on FA cup winners Wigan Athletic on Sunday, May 19th, masks of the number 19 player will be placed on every seat in the away section, encouraging fans to wear them in the 19th minute.
Stiliyan Petrov recently announced his retirement from football following his diagnosis of Leukaemia.
Mask-arade director Chris O’Nyan said: “We are making this gesture to support Cure Leukaemia and to recognise Stan’s popularity.”
All profits are being donated to Cure Leukaemia. The masks can also be ordered online from Mask-arade.com.
