Home accessory brand Surya plans a big expansion of its presence at the Las Vegas Market.
The Calhoun, Ga.-based rug and soft goods source will move from its World Market Center B-370 location to a 30,447-square foot showroom at C-400. Surya officials say the move will increase space by 400%.
"We're very excited to be an integral part of International Market Centers' vision for developing C4 into a home décor destination. Through this move, we will be able to create an exciting venue to share Surya's full range of offerings with our West Coast customers. The additional space also affords us the opportunity to utilize certain areas of the space to showcase innovative new concepts to merchandise and display a diverse range of home décor products," Surya President Satya Tiwari said in a release.
"We know that time is often limited for market visitors and this transition to Building C's fourth floor brings us in close proximity with several of our customers' other key suppliers - saving them valuable time," he added. "Our ultimate goal is to offer a comprehensive shopping experience for our customers, providing both a complete home accessory resource and concepts for impactful retail merchandising and display."
Tiwari said Surya plans to host special events and complimentary meals and cocktails, and will create a venue to explore design trends and product introductions and to connect with others in the industry.
International Market Centers CEO Bob Maracich said having Surya on board will help bolster offerings on C4.
"A longtime partner in both Las Vegas and High Point, Surya has built a dynamic and influential brand in the home décor industry, and their prominent position on C4 serves to anchor the launch of this new floor of leading home décor suppliers," Maracich said.
