Axalta Coating Systems will highlight the need for speed at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) tradeshow in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 3-6, 2015 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). Join us inside the LVCC at booth number 22391 to see Axalta’s brilliant colors shine on award-winning cars including the winner of the Goodguys 2015 Classic Instruments Street Machine of the Year award – Sonny and Debbie Freeman’s 1967 Corvette which was built by Mike Goldman. You can also check out Gil Losi’s 1956 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible, Ridler Award finalist, Goodguys Custom Rod of the Year and winner of the cover position on Axalta’s 2016 Custom Finishes Calendar.
For the full Axalta experience, you can also see how fast-drying our coatings are at the Axalta Engineered for Speed spray booth where Axalta has teamed up with Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) to integrate REVO infrared technology into Axalta’s live paint demonstrations. The Axalta spray booth and mixing room, located just outside of the Central Hall front entrance (booth number 61009), will be the place to watch cutting edge paint demos, amazing artists create custom masterpieces, or to actually suit up yourself to spray Cromax® Pro waterborne basecoat and Cromax Premier LE UVA primer-surfacer in a GFS Ultra XD semi-downdraft spray booth. After painting, visitors can talk to Axalta’s technical experts about the products or head to Axalta’s inside booth for autograph signing sessions, pinstriping demonstrations and much more.
“We are pleased to be back at SEMA for our 23rd year,” announced Nigel Budden, Axalta Coating Systems Vice President and head of its North America business. “I think attendees will find our activities, cars, celebrities, content and events to be exciting. We also want to make our presence interactive and our custom-built, fully operational spray booth and mixing room will help us do that.”
Axalta’s outdoor exhibit will include its VIP tent, spray booth and mixing room, and among a number of head-turning vehicles, award-winning American country music artist Zac Brown’s 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat. Our indoor exhibit will offer closed-circuit monitors displaying Axalta’s activities in the outdoor spray booth and offer food, beverages, and other special activities.
