Ambiente India 2015 Returns From June 25-27, 2015 to Pragati Maidan, New Delhi

Ambiente India 2015 returns from June 25-27, 2015 to Pragati Maidan, New Delhi with more product segments to cover the extensive gamut of interior décor business.

“It will create a trade hub for manufacturers, designers and suppliers of home décor and interior accessories with enhanced opportunities to network, showcase current trends, launch new products, and discover home fashion innovations,” its organiser Messe Frankfurt said.

The trade fair takes place at what is called the pre-festive retail season in India and is the peak buying season for home fashion buyers, particularly retailers catering to the end-user’s high demand during buying periods like Diwali, Christmas and the wedding and gifting season.

Targeting interior designers, decorators, architects, wholesalers, retailers, and modern traders as visitors, Ambiente India 2015 will encompass a diverse range of interior products, separated into the three well-defined product groups like - Dining, Giving and Living.

The show is being organised in association with the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) which sees the burgeoning growth in the interior products industry as a positive sign for industry players.

Rakesh Kumar, executive director at EPCH said, “A specialised fair like Ambiente India provides the Indian handicrafts and decor industry with an ’effective trade medium’ and a comprehensive platform to see interior products’ market innovations.”

According to a 2012 study by BRIC data, India’s interior products industry is expected to reach a value of Rs 2973.6 billion (US$ 48.5 billion) by 2016 with an annual growth rate of 11.34 per cent.

Concentrating on innovations in lifestyle products, the Living section will cover modern home styling accessories, international furnishing ideas, avant-garde designs and indoors and outdoors decoration.

Two new product segments comprising decorative cushions and furniture have been added this year under the living section. Moving away from traditional furniture, Ambiente India’s furniture segment will focus on luxurious, unconventional and contemporary space solutions that suit the tastes of nouveau-Indian consumers.

Dining products occupy a special preference in India when it comes to home refurbishing and gifting. Also, the growth of the hospitality sector is expected to further push the demand for both décor and dining products.

To meet the market demand, Ambiente India’s Dining section will extensively cover trends in the areas of table, kitchen and household, including glass, porcelain, ceramics, crystal, silverware, fine metal ware, and modern designs in plastic.

Noting Indian buyers’ increasing spending on corporate and festive gifting, Ambiente India’s Giving section will hold everything from limited edition gifts, stationery and decorations to personal accessories, beauty and bath.
