Italian sports car manufacturer Lamborghini has recalled certain model year 2004 - 2006 Gallardo Coupe and Spyder vehicles due to fire risks.
The recall affects about 1500 Gallardo Coupe and Spyder autos which were built from May 2003 through April 2008.
The car manufacturer said that pipes can corrode near the power steering pump and in rare cases, fluid can leak onto the hot engine and cause a fire.
Lamborghini discovered the problem in product monitoring and testing and did not report any fires or injuries.
In June 2012, Lamborghini had unveiled the new Gallardo LP560-4 Gold Limited Edition at the Shenzhen Hong Kong Macau International Auto Show, which will be targeting at Chinese market.
Founded in 1963, Automobili Lamborghini is headquartered in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
