Axalta Coating Systems, a US based supplier of liquid and powder coatings for automobiles sector, has boosted its supply capabilities in Southern California region.
With daily delivery services covering Oxnard in north and Fontana in south, the company has also expanded the portfolio of its offerings with Alesta, Nap-Gard, and Abcite.
A public warehouse has also been set up in California to boost order processing and inventory control.
Axalta powder coatings North America - southern regional manager Bill Owens said, "We recognized that our customers needed powder delivered periodically during the week.
"By offering a dedicated delivery service to this area, we hope to better support the needs of our job coater customers."
With a view to ensuring that the products reach customers' doorsteps in time, Axalta has also embarked on truck services covering a radius of 50 miles spread over four routes in Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.
Besides, an Axalta branded truck armed with climate controlled, 26-foot refrigerated system, could be found plying on road to reach out to people on the west coast.
Claiming its coating to be capable of preventing corrosion, the company boasts a clientele of 120,000, including those for electric motors, buildings and pipelines, across 130 countries.
